Update #2: Cold Lake RCMP warrant apprehension nets Canada wide wanted man

On March 22, 2018 Cold Lake RCMP members and the General Investigation Section (GIS) initiated a warrant round up in Cold Lake searching for a male wanted on a Canada wide warrant.
Police attended a residence and were able to arrest 28-year-old Garrett Blackman on his outstanding warrant after a traffic stop was conducted and charged for being unlawfully at large. He was remanded into custody and his next court appearance will be on April 16, 2018 in Edmonton Provincial Court.
Members attended a separate residence in Cold Lake and arrested two others for outstanding warrants.
Daniel Pappin, a 29-year-old from Cold Lake was arrested for three outstanding warrants with multiple charges. He will be appearing in Cold Lake Provincial Court on March 28, 2018.
Pamela Benson, a 35-year-old from Cold Lake was arrested for an outstanding warrant with two charges and will be appearing in St. Paul Provincial Court on April 19, 2018.
Update
On March 22nd, after a Warrant Apprehension initiative by Cold Lake Detachment, RCMP arrested Garrett Blackman on the Cold Lake First Nations for his Canada-Wide Warrant of Apprehension, Suspension and Re-commitment to Custody regarding his Statutory Release for his manslaughter conviction.
Garrett Blackman also has a charge outstanding for being unlawfully at large out of Edmonton Police Service

Cold Lake RCMP believes that wanted man, Garrett Blackman could be in the Cold Lake area. Blackman is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
BLACKMAN is wanted on a Canada wide Apprehension & Suspension warrant for a Statutory release violation. He has a history of extreme violence. If you have seen or know where he may be, do not approach, you are asked to call police immediately or Crime Stoppers.
