Register Early for MS Walk and you could win $500 travel voucher

Registration is open for the annual Lakeland MS Society Walk in St. Paul and if you register before March 15th, you’ll be entered into the early bird draw for a $500 travel voucher from WestJet.

Brenda Rosychuk, Regional Office Manager, for the Lakeland Chapter of the MS Society, says plans for this year’s walk are already underway, “we have a few teams and walkers registered already. As always, it’s going to be a fun day.”

Last year, the Lakeland chapter celebrated their 10th anniversary of the walk with 37 teams and 474 participants, “we raised $145,231. It was our largest participation year to date.”

For this year, the club is optimistically shooting for $135,000 in donations.

The event is already off to a great start with a new sponsor jumping on board, says Rosychuk, “The Co-operators, Saik Insurance Services Ltd (St. Paul).  They have donated $15,000 over the next 3 years.”

“We are very excited to have them on our team, as they have been dedicated to the cause for several years in a different capacity.  They have definitely made an impact by increasing the quality of life for those living with MS in the Lakeland region, and bringing us closer to ending MS.  We are grateful to have their dedication and enthusiasm on our team.”
