From Jan. 25-28, 2018, Lac La Biche and Boyle RCMP with assistance of resources from RCMP Eastern Alberta District engaged in crime reduction initiatives by targeting several individuals who were wanted by police.

As result of their efforts, RCMP executed 42 outstanding warrants and laid six new Criminal Code charges along with several Traffic Safety Act offences. RCMP also recovered a truck that was previously reported stolen from the Bonnyville area and a light tower and trailer.

Charges are now before the courts for the following:

  • Avery Gadwa (23) and Donald Callioux (48) of Kikino Metis Settlement
  • Kyle Joe (20) and Travis Joe (45) of Caslan
  • Donald Mountain (28) and Heather Cardinal (23) of Beaver Lake
  • Anita Cardinal (20) of Lac La Biche
  • Tyrell Dyler (34) of Newbrook

“As a result of this initiative several outstanding warrants and charges are now before the courts,” said Corporal Ronald Bumbry, Eastern Alberta District Media Relations Officer. “We will continue to strategically focus on offenders in keeping with our crime reduction strategies.”
