Cold Lake First Nations Councillor Sentenced

On December 13, 2017, Kelsey James Jacko, 44 years old and a current sitting Councillor with the Cold Lake First Nations was sentenced for possession of Cannabis Marihuana for the purpose of trafficking. Kelsey Jacko was sentenced at St. Paul Provincial Court and received a 2 year Conditional Discharge with conditions and a 10 year Firearm’s Prohibition with the exception of being able to possess a firearm for sustenance purposes only.
On November 19, 2015, Cold Lake RCMP executed a search warrant on the residence of Kelsey Jacko and seized over 2 pounds of Cannabis Marihuana, drug and trafficking paraphernalia and $1710.00 in cash.
