Congratulations to Kelly Henderson on receiving the ACSTA (Alberta Catholic School Trustees’ Association) Meritorious Service Award.
This award is given to a school trustee of a member board of the Association in recognition of meritorious service. Kelly received the award at the ACSTA Banquet on November 19, 2017 in Edmonton.

For nine years, she has been a Trustee with Lakeland Catholic School District and during this time, she worked diligently to promote Catholic Education. Prior to her position as a Trustee, Kelly was a Student Assistant and a Youth Minister within LCSD.

Kelly said, “I love that Catholic values can be taught in our schools. Faith is permeated in all subject areas and we are able to pray together as a school community and a parish community.” Her steadfast support and promotion of Catholic Education and wholehearted servant leadership is what makes her such a distinguished Catholic leader.
