Notice of Public Hearing
Bylaw No. 764/17
TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, as amended, the Council of the Town of Elk Point proposes to adopt Bylaw No. 764/17 for the Town to enact:
- The Land Use Bylaw 717/13 for the Town of Elk Point is hereby amended by changing the designation of Part of SW 7-57-6-W4M from Industrial “M” District to Community “P” District.
- The purpose of the rezoning is to allow 1.882 acres to be subdivided and consolidated with the Elk Point & District AG Society lands directly west.
A copy of the proposed bylaw may be reviewed and inspected by the public at the Town of Elk Point Office during the hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
At 7:00 PM on August 28, 2017 the Council of the Town of Elk Point will cause a Public Hearing to be held in the Town Council Chambers at the Town of Elk Point Office, at which time objections or comments regarding the proposed bylaw may be given and received.
