Grow your Business with RABC

Incubator program offered at discounted rate.

The Rural Alberta Business Centre (RABC) is offering a discounted rate for their incubator program in Cold Lake. Small Business Advisor, Kathryn Hotte says the program offers the full 360 in helping launch a business; office space, mentoring & advise, and great connections & discounts with partner businesses.

“We know that times are tough, so we wanted to offer reduced rent for the first three months,” there are two spots available in Cold Lake’s incubator program, confirms Hotte. “We want people to know this is a great opportunity to be a part of the incubator program.”

“It’s not just about the cheap rent, you get all the pieces that go along with that. The mentorship, help with the business plan and the marketing plan.” Hotte says the RABC has secured a number of partners that offer free or discounted rates to businesses in the incubator program, “we have a free hour with a book keeper to get your books set up, time with a lawyer, free logo design and business cards. All the RABC workshops are free.” On top of all of that, Lakeland Connect offers a free advertorial to incubator businesses. “We want to see you succeed, we want to get you going in the right direction and at one point, you’ll go off and do your own thing!”

Some businesses that have graduated the incubator program include Cindy Couture Photography and Blue Sun Healing.

The two spaces are available for $400/month and $500/month depending on the office size for three months. After that they will increase by $50/month. Included in the program is the space guaranteed for a year, businesses may leave sooner if they require. There are no leases or commitments holding a business to the program.
