Ronald McDonald Classic Raises $83,730

Annual charity golf tournament helps families in the Lakeland.

“I am excited to announce we raised $83,730 on June 17th at the 3rd annual RMHCNA Lakeland Golf Classic!”  Oreen Skiba, Stakeholder Relations Manager, Lakeland Region of the Ronald McDonald House Charities® Northern Alberta, says the event was a great success. The tournament, held last weekend in at the Cold Lake Golf & Winter Club brought in nearly 40 teams and over $80,000.

Money raised from the tournament goes towards helping families in the Lakeland stay connect while a child is going through long-term medical treatments in Edmonton.

The next big event for the RMHCNA is the Chamber’s Networking Golf Tournament. To be held at the Bonnyville Golf & Country Club.
