RCMP Search for Car Theft Suspects in Beaverdam Area

Suspects at large.

There was police presence in the Beaverdam area, in the Municipal District (MD) of Bonnyville, yesterday, following a suspicious vehicle sighting. According to the Cold Lake RCMP Detachment a MD Peace Officer happened on the scene of a suspicious vehicle that was parked on the side of the road.

Three people fled the scene upon approach of the officer. It was determined that the vehicle was stolen and Cold Lake RCMP were called to assist the peace officer. The RCMP deployed the help of the helicopter and canine unit. One person was found, however is not facing charges at this time.
