150 Free New Library Memberships Available, ALL Ages!

Celebrate Canada’s 150th with the Bonnyville Library. Always wanted a library card? Now is the best time because we have 150 free new memberships to give away.

 

 

MÎKISIHKAHCIKÊWIN: Storytelling and Beading, Thursday, April 20th 6-8pm

Join educators and artists Alsena white and Lana Whiskeyjack as they share transformational stories about Indian Residential school experience and intergenerational resilience while beading a floral design. Focus on Cree language, art and storytelling. Please register with the library space is limited.

 

LEGO Story Time- Grades K-6, Wednesdays, Apr 26th, 4- 4:45

Join us to design and build your own LEGO creations. Share your building tips, tricks, and masterpieces with others. Lego is provided. Drop in. Special Easter Break LEGO on April 10th at 1:30pm

 

Adult Card Making Class, Tuesday, April 25th, 6:30-8pm

Join us for an evening of card making fun. $12 for supplies to make 3 beautiful, handcrafted cards.  Expert advice available. Space is limited so please register with the library.

 

Author Visit, All Ages Families Welcome, Thursday April 27th, 6-7pm

Illustrator & Author Carolyn Fisher, and Children`s Storyteller and Dramatist Tololwa Mollel will be at the Bonnyville Library for an author visit through Cenovus Wordpower and YABS. Don`t miss this all ages event!

Craft and Chat- All Ages Welcome, Wednesdays, 1-2pm

Join us Wednesday afternoons for crafting, chatting, and coffee. Bring your projects or supplies to start one! The library has resources available for inspiration as well. No Craft and Chat on April 5th.

 

Story Time

Story Time is every Wednesday morning at 9:15 OR 10:30. No Story Time April 5th.  

Share in stories, songs and a craft.  Suggested age level is 3-5 years.

 

Rhyme Time

Rhyme Time is every Thursday morning at 9:30 OR 10:30. No Rhyme Time April 6th

Interact with your child using rhymes, songs and stories.  Suggested age level is 0-3 years.
