RE: Water Rate
On January 2017 Utility billing, Council increased the water rate one month earlier than intended (December consumption). We would like to thank the Elk Point Utility Customer who brought this to our attention.
To remedy this situation the Town is undertaking 2 actions:
- Elk Point utility customers will see a credit of $10.00 on the February 2017 utility
- Any utility customers that have used beyond the base rate of
14m3 will be credited $1.00/m3 on the February 2017 utility billing.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your understanding as we rectify this situation.
