The indoor play structure at Parent Link in Cold Lake is under repairs and not open for play. The structure, located at the FCSS building, had some damage done to the safety netting and until it is fixed no children will be allowed to play on the equipment.
The City of Cold Lake released a public advisory on Tuesday afternoon, stating that it is unknown how long the equipment will be out of commission. The City advises parents that there are a multitude of other activities to help keep the kids occupied during the down time, “during this time, parents are encouraged to continue coming out for activities and programs taking place on the main floor, but the play structure will be off limits until a replacement part is ordered and the netting repaired.”
The City thanks parents and kids for their patience and understanding, while the netting is being repaired, “we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.” If you have any questions, please contact FCSS/PLC at 780-594-4495.
