On December 14th, at 12:30 am, the Cold Lake RCMP Detachment received a call regarding a disturbance at the Cold Lake hospital. Sgt Troy Hadland of the Cold Lake Detachment explains the situation, “a 60 year old female was intoxicated and fighting with staff and patients on the third floor.”
The woman was a patient and the reason for the dispute was unknown. She was taken into the police station, says Sgt Hadland, “she was arrested and lodged in our cells until she was sober.” The female was released without charge.
