RCMP Elk Point Investigate Thefts from Motor Vehicles and Stolen Truck

During the overnight hours of November 21 and 22, 2016 multiple suspects entered 4 unlocked motor vehicles and stole change in consoles, cigarettes, documents and other small items.  In one instance a chain saw was stolen from the box of a truck.  In another instance there was a rifle stolen from the cab of a truck warming up in the victim’s driveway.  The Elk Point RCMP continue to investigate these crimes and believe it is the same small group committing these offences.

The public is asked to ensure that their vehicles are locked and to remove anything that these suspects may be interested in stealing.  The public is also asked to lock vehicles while they are warming them up as they could be the target of thieves.

The Elk Point RCMP are also looking for a stolen 2006 Blue Chevrolet Silverado, with a broken/missing driver side rear window which was stolen overnight on November 21, 2016
