RCMP Investigate 3 B&Es in 3 Days

RCMP are asking witnesses to come forward

The Cold Lake RCMP are investigating a string of break and enters over the last three days, confirms S/Sgt Jeremie Landry. “We had (3) break and enters over the past 3 days.”

• 2016-09-01 – Break & Enter on 47 avenue in Ardmore.
• 2016-09-02 – Break & Enter on Township Road 622 – 3 Ford Service trucks stolen.
• 2016-08-31 – Break & Enter on 6th Avenue Cold Lake – Unknown items stolen at this time as home owners are away on vacation.

It is important that any one who may have witness suspicious activity or the crimes to contact the Cold Lake Detachment. “No suspects at this time,” states S/Sgt Landry. If you know anything about any of these crimes contact the detachment at 780-594-3302 or Crimestoppers   1-800-222-TIPS (8477). 

The public is reminded that often times theft is a crime of opportunity. Always keep your valuables, house, vehicles, sheds, etc locked up. Don’t leave your wallet, keys or other valuables in your vehicles. If you have a security system, use it. If you will be away for an extended period of time, whether on vacation or work, try to find someone who can look in on your property.
