At 9:15 pm, on May 31st, the Cold Lake RCMP received calls regarding a suspected impaired driver. The reports were that the vehicle was all over the road, causing several collisions. Shortly after the calls came in, the vehicle was located, with the assistance of the Bonnyville RCMP, on Highway 28, near Ardmore.

A Cold Lake male was arrested for dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, impaired operation of a motor vehicle and refusal to provide breath samples. At the time of this report there were no official charges sworn on the man by the court; thus his identity is not known.
