On May 30th, 2016 at 4:30 PM, the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment received 911 complaint from a hotel in the town of Bonnyville regarding a fight.  Police located a male who was severely intoxicated.  Through dealing with the male it was learned that he initially provided a false name to police in order to evade being apprehended on his outstanding warrants from Wood Buffalo (Fort McMurray) RCMP and Edmonton Police Service.

The male was arrested for Obstruction and transported the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment.  Further police checks showed the male was not only wanted but was on conditions from the court for pending charges.  The male was remanded into custody facing additional charges of Obstruction and Failing to Comply with Conditions x4.
