On April 27th at 3:20 am, Cold Lake RCMP received a call of a break and enter in progress. When RCMP arrived, they found the suspect on the back deck, highly intoxicated by alcohol.  A 25 year old man, from Cold Lake, was arrested for breaching conditions.

RCMP believe this was a random event, the owners of the house and the suspect did not know each other. Although the suspect lives in a different area of the city, RCMP believe that he was so intoxicated he believed that he was trying to get into his own home. The suspect never gained access to the house.

RCMP did not see the suspect as a threat to the public and have not released his name at this time.
