On April 9^th, around noon, Cold Lake RCMP received a 911 call regarding a stolen truck. The owner, of the vehicle, said his red ford truck was stolen by a female with pink hair on Township Road 623. The man pursued the truck and caught up with it. He removed the female who was last seen walking south on the same road.

Police found the suspect, 29 year old Brittany Pettit, of Cold Lake and have charged her with possession of property of $5,000, theft of a vehicle over $5,000, failing to comply with a recognizance and failing to comply with probation.

Pettit had an outstanding warrant from Fort Saskatchewan for being unlawfully at large.
