On March 19th, 2016 at approximately 10:00 PM, the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment received a 911 call for service of a domestic dispute in Glendon, AB where a male had been hit in the head with a large pipe. Bonnyville RCMP officers attended the residence where they learned the male, 22 years old, had been locked out of the house and when he did get the door open the female, 45 years old, struck the male in the head with a large pipe.
The female was arrested for assault with a weapon and search incidental to arrest revealed drug paraphernalia and a substance believed to be methamphetamine. The female was transported to the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment where she was released by a Justice of the Peace to appear in Bonnyville Provincial Court at a later date.
The male was transported to the Bonnyville Hospital where he received medical attention for his injuries.
