On January 19, 2016, Cold Lake RCMP executed a search warrant on a Cold Lake residence and seized a quantity of Cannabis Marihuana, cocaine and fentanyl as well as Canadian currency. Trent Assuant of Cold Lake was arrested and faces charges of trafficking cannabis marihuana, possession of cocaine and fentanyl, as well as possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.

Trent Assaunt was released from custody on conditions pending his next court appearance in Cold Lake.
