Pedestrian Dead after being Struck by Vehicle in Sadde Lake

Just before 7:00 pm on January 28th, Saddle Lake RCMP, Fire, and EMS were dispatched to a collision between a pickup truck and a pedestrian on Range Road 121 several kilometers North of Highway 36 in the Saddle Lake Reserve.

The pedestrian, A 21 year old Saddle Lake man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

No charges have been laid at this time, however the incident remains under investigation by the St. Paul RCMP Collision Reconstruction unit and the Edmonton Medical Examiner’s Office.

The name of the deceased has not been released pending the notification of next of kin.
