RCMP Issue Arrest Warrant for Cold Lake Man Believed to be Responsible for Donation Box Theft
A warrant for the arrest of Michael Kyle Jordan Daniels, 31 years old of Cold Lake, has been issued in relation to the theft at the Cold Lake Bottle Depot, of a donation box containing $200, that was destined for the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton.
The warrant for arrest is also for obstructing a peace officer, the personation of Jared Jacknife, as well as for an unrelated theft under $5000 from The Best Spirits Liquor Store on September 20, 2015.
On January 2, 2016, Michael Daniels was arrested for the theft at the Bottle Depot and personated Jared Jacknife. On January 13, 2016, all charges against Jared Jacknife were withdraw, as he had no involvement in this crime.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Michael Daniels to contact Cold Lake RCMP at 594-3302 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
