22 Yr Old Arrested in Early Morning Hit & Run
The Cold Lake RCMP have arrested a 22 year old male, from Stony Plain, in connection to a hit and run in Cold Lake at 1:20 am on Friday, December 4th.
Cold Lake RCMP received a 911 call of a two-vehicle, hit and run, collision, near McDonald’s on Highway 55. RCMP quickly responded and located the suspect vehicle a few blocks away. The driver was impaired, and arrested.
Charges are pending on the Stony Plain male for refusal to provide a breath sample, failing to remain at the scene of an accident, and a charge under the traffic safety act for exceeding the posted speed limit.
There were no injuries reported in the incident.
