On Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, Cold Lake RCMP responded to a complaint of a shooting at a motel in Cold Lake. A 29-year-old man from Island Lake First Nation, Sask. was wounded during an altercation at the motel. The man was taken to hospital and he remains in stable condition.

This incident remains under investigation and Cold Lake RCMP are seeking any information the public may have about what occurred. The two individuals involved in the altercation were known to each other.
