3 Arrested in Cold Lake Drug Bust

On August 7th, 2015, The Cold Lake RCMP along with Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT) executed several search warrants, which included the search of four homes and three vehicles in Cold Lake. The execution of the search warrants resulted in the break up of a trafficking group working out of Cold Lake.

Stemming from the search warrants, marihuana was seized, along with other evidence consistent with drug trafficking. Three people have been arrested and charged as a result of the investigation and search warrants.

Aaron Capp, 28 years-old of Cold Lake was charged with breach of a recognizance (x 8) and possession of a controlled substance. In March of 2015, Aaron Capp was charged with nine drugs and weapons related offenses. Due to these previous charges, Capp was also charged with breach offenses.
Desi Loreal Meesto, 25 years-old and Matthew Steele, 32 years-old also of Cold Lake were charged with trafficking cocaine.
