Tannas Insurance is looking to add like-minded individuals to its growing team. We are now searching for an Insurance Broker for our office located in St. Paul, AB.

What You Will Do

• Assist clients with their daily insurance needs in person, over the phone or through email
• Provide quotes and sell new policies to clients
• Upsell products and services to new and existing clients
• Generate client referrals through community involvement and events
• Follow up on client accounts to resolve outstanding matters
• Support clients throughout the claims process
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the Broker Management System
• Make timely renewal calls for existing client business
• Remain up to date on product knowledge and build relationships with insurance providers
• Commit to self-development through internal training and industry education
• Maintain knowledge of insurance company products, programs and payment plans

What You Bring to the Team

• Completion of the General Insurance Licence, Level 1, before the first day of employment
• High school diploma or equivalency
• Drive and motivation for personal growth
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to adapt to various computer programs
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Previous general insurance experience is an asset, but candidates who are new to the industry are welcome to apply
