On October 11, 2026, Louis Amyotte of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 58 years.
He is survived by his children, Bryan Rattlesnake, Louis Waskahat Amyotte, Ernestine Jackson & Chance Jackson; siblings,Lilly, Violet, Shirley (Terrence) & Edward; his cat, Big Mayo; numerous aunts, uncles & cousins. Louis was predeceased by his parents, Ernest Amyotte & Leila Amyotte (nee Steinhauer); siblings, Alex Steinhauer, Guy Amyotte & younger brother in infancy.
A Wake will be held Saturday, October 17 at Resource Centre (Old Onchaminahos School Gym), Saddle Lake (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.). Traditional Funeral Service led by Elders will be held on Monday, October 19 at 11:00 a.m. at Resource Centre (Old Onchaminahos School Gym), Saddle Lake with interment in United Church Cemetery, Saddle Lake. The family would like to acknowledge & thank the Dr`s, nurses & staff of St. Therese Hospital, St. Paul & Misericordia Community Hospital, Edmonton.
