Walter will be forever remembered and loved by his partner: Cindy McGillis; son: Kelvin (Tara) Desjarlais; grandchildren: Caine Ashcroft, Nathaniel (Paige) Desjarlais, Martina Desjarlais (Wyatt), Colt Desjarlais, Dawson Villeneuve, Justine Villeneuve (Ryan), Brock Villeneuve; chapans: Brynlee, Jaxon, Maverick, Sawyer; as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.
Walter was predeceased by his wife: Rosalie Desjarlais; daughter: Angela Desjarlais; parents: Therese and Hyacinthe Desjarlais; and siblings: Agnes Collins, Madeline Heath, Marie Cardinal, Delia Desjarlais, Annie Tourangeau, James Desjarlais, Lawrence Desjarlais, Albert Desjarlais, Bella Cardinal, Julia Cardinal, Mary Collins, John Desjarlais.
Wake, Monday & Tuesday, September 21 & 22, 2026 (leaving Northern Lights Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville at 11:00 a.m.) Elizabeth Settlement Community Hall.
Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 12:00 p.m., St. Margurite d’Youville Catholic Church with interment to follow at Elizabeth Settlement Community Cemetery.
