On Sunday, September 20, 2026 Clarence Badger of Kehewin Cree Nation passed away at the Bonnyville Healthcare Centre at the age of 72 years.
Clarence will be forever remembered and loved by his children: Kelly Reader, Albert Morin, Shawn Badger, Cory Wells, Giselle Youngchief, Vanessa Pambrun, Tavia Whitstone, Felicia Badger, Kip Badger, Tyler Desjarlais, Carey Badger, Brittany Badger, Katie Watchmaker; siblings: Shirley Badger, Gloria Badger, Peggy Badger, Gladys Cardinal, Rita Badger, Connie (Paul) Morin, Cree Badger, Lowell Badger, Keith Badger, Tania Badger, Valerie Littlechild; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Clarence was predeceased by his sons: Calvin Badger, Rocky Badger; grandson: Jesse Reader; parents: Lucy & Johnny Badger; siblings: Elmer Badger, Raymond Badger, Vernon Badger, Arlene Desjarlais.
A two-day Wake will begin on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the Kehewin Recreation Centre, with the procession leaving Northern Lights Funeral Chapel in Bonnyville at 2:00 p.m. A Traditional Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 25, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kehewin Recreation Centre, followed by Interment at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Kehewin Cree Nation.
