It is with great sadness that the family of Georgette Lafreniere of St. Paul, Alberta, announce the passing of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother & sister on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at the age of 81 years.
Georgette is lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years, Leo; daughters: Diane (Andrew) Brown of St. Albert, Linda (Ken) Richter of St. Paul; son: Bernard Lafreniere of St. Paul; grandchildren: Josh (Jen) Richter, Alex (Tamara) Brown, Jennifer (Jesse) Piquette, Francine Brown; great-grandchildren: Clara, Andrew, Matthew, Bexxley, Owen, Aedden, Aubrey; brothers, Arthur, Bob (Cathy), Dan (Jodie) Robinson; sister: Diane Meilleur.
Georgette was predeceased by her parents, Art & Martha (Filiatrault) Robinson; brother, George; sister, Rosemarie.
Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, October 2, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul, Alberta, with Father Andrew Schoenberger officiating. Urnbearers, Jennifer Piquette, Francine Brown. Final resting place, St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Paul, Alberta.
