With grieving hearts, the family of Clayton Wade Unrau of Big Island Lake, Saskatchewan share the passing of their husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend on Monday, July 20, 2026 at the age of 56 years.

Clayton is lovingly survived by his common-law wife Donna Oseemeemow; children: Danielle (Colelan), Denise (Jared), Brett, Terran, Nikki, Dustin, Lenora (Harry), Dawson; grandchildren: Ellie, Carson, Chloe, Lily, Anika, Leah, Nathanieal, Lucas, Nikiah, Parker, Landon, Destiny, Rashay, Micha, Mia; sisters: Gloria, Sandi (Morris), Frances (Louie), Charlotte as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Clayton is going into the arms of his mother: Mary (1983); father: Daniel (1989); brothers: Leslie (1977), Daniel (2023).

Wake, Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 12:00 p.m., Big Island Lake Band Hall, Big Island Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan, leaving Memento Funeral Chapel, Cold Lake, Alberta at 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service, Friday, July 24, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., Big Island Lake Band Hall, Big Island Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan with Band Elders officiating. Pallbearers: Barry Sandfly, Galvin Ahmeecheko, Damian Kahpeepatow, Lyle George, Jared Lasas, Blaine Harper. As per Clayton’s wishes, cremation to follow.
