With broken hearts, the family of Kindra-Rae Helena Yurko formerly of Pierceland, Saskatchewan regretfully announce her passing on Monday, June 8, 2026 at the age of 38 years.

Leaving to mourn with precious memories are her children: Jed & Sophia Schock; parents: Karen Yurko & Barry Butler; father of her children & dear friend: Sean Schock, as well as his mother: Nancy Schock; stepbrothers: Michael Butler (Stephanie), Barry Jr. Butler (Nikki); half sister: Aleisia (Ivo) Ciurlizza Parro; grandmother: Cora Yurko; aunts & uncles: Evelyn Yurko, Myron (Anita) Yurko, Marcia (Harry) Jacula, Shelley (David) McCullough,  Lorna (Norman) Ledoux, Sandra Heiber, Patricia (Darel) Davies; treasured border collies: Yuppy & Coco; feline friends: Fluffball & Rancherra; Kindra will also be remembered by her many cousins, extended family & friends.

Kindra was predeceased by her grandfathers: Jack Yurko, Marlin Heiber; father-in-law; Clarence Schock: uncles: Ed Pryma, Lyle Yurko, Kevin Yurko, Eric Heiber; aunt: Debbie Pryma; cousin: Raymond Moskalyk; dogs: Diamond & Muffin; cats: Nala & Munro

A Celebration of Kindra’s Life will take place on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., Pierceland Community Hall, Pierceland, Saskatchewan with Pastor Ron Hewitt officiating. Pallbearers: Michael Butler, Dale Pryma, Will Phillips, Rich Yurko, Tye Johnson, Sean Schock. Final Resting Place, Rosehill Cemetery, Edmonton, AB.
