With broken hearts, the family of Josie Carrier announce her peaceful passing at the age of 93 years.
She is survived by her children, five sons and one daughter, Paul(Cheryl), Louis (Darlene), Henry (Joan), Ray (Sylvia), Ron & Carolyn (Blair) Yacey; grandchildren, Vanessa, Pamela, Tracy, Tasha, Kyla, Marie, Nicole, Charlie, Andre, Ben, Matthew, Ronni, Jamie, Brad, Tanielle & Carter; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Dean, Nicholas, Lily, Alexander, Isabella, Audrey, Charlotte, Payton, Beckett, Presley, Sadie, Hadley & one on the way. Josie lived a long, full life. She loved her family and always loved visiting. She loved her sun room, working with all her plants and knitting. She was very proud to make many beautiful knitted pillows and give them to family and friends that she loved. Josie was predeceased by her wonderful husband, Charlie; her parents, Wladyslaw & Anelia Kotowich; brothers, Frank & Walter; sisters, Anne & Rosie.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Father Emmanuel Umeohanna will be officiating with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Paul.
