After a life well lived, the family of Joan Marie Bushore of Cold Lake, Alberta sadly announce her passing on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at the age of 89 years.
Joan is lovingly remembered by her children: René (Sharon) Bushore of Edmonton, Kevin (Micheline) Bushore of Bonnyville, Ken (Maryanne) Bushore of Alexander, Wanda Hackney of Edmonton, Valerie (Larry) Crocker of Okotoks; grandchildren: Jamie (Sarah), Danielle (Ilesh), Jesse (Kayla), Neil (Gisele), Justin (Nikki), Chontelle (Jared), Chelsey (Jarl), Kyle; great grandchildren: Dominic, Kaitlyn, Abigail, Adam, Brinley, Béa, Olivia, Elliot, Finlay, Silas, Shiloh, Evelyn, Ravi, Ava; sister: Anne Kennedy.
Joan is predeceased by her husband of 44 years James Maurice Bushore, son-in-law: Dan Hackney; parents: Wilfred & Theresa Rogers; brothers: Dave (Martha) Rogers, Paul (Elsie) Rogers; brother-in-law: Ed Tubrett.
As per Joan’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Final Resting Place, St. Peter & St. Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery, Alexander, Alberta.
