Vegreville RCMP are asking for the public’s help after a late-night break and enter at a business in Mundare.
Police were called just before midnight on April 8, 2026, around 11:45 p.m., after a business alarm was triggered near the intersection of 52 Avenue and 50 Street.
Cash register recovered, suspects still at large
Officers confirmed a break and enter had taken place and were able to locate and seize the business’s cash register. It will now be analyzed by Alberta RCMP Forensic Identification Services.
Surveillance footage has been reviewed, but two suspects remain at large.
Suspect descriptions released
Suspect 1 was seen wearing:
- Red hoodie under a black sweater with white stripes on the arms and white writing on the back
- Black track pants with stripes
- Red gloves and red mask
- Black baseball hat
- Red running shoes
Police describe this individual as between 5’8” and 6’2” tall with an average build.
Suspect 2 was seen wearing:
- Grey or dark green jacket
- Grey pants
- Grey running shoes with white bottoms
- Grey gloves
- Black mask with a white pattern
This suspect is described as between 5’6” and 6’0” tall with an average build.
RCMP looking for video footage
Investigators are asking anyone with dash cam or surveillance footage from the area to come forward.
They are specifically looking for footage between:
- 51 Avenue and 53 Avenue
- Along 50 Street in Mundare
- Between 11:30 p.m. on April 8 and 12:30 a.m. on April 9
