The St. Paul Seniors’ Living Foundation has appointed Pauline De Leon as its new Chief Administrative Officer, effective April 1, 2026, bringing experienced leadership and a strong community focus to seniors living in the region.
Experienced leader steps into key role
De Leon, who lives in the Bonnyville-Lakeland region, steps into the role with more than 15 years of leadership experience across member-driven organizations, credit unions and community-focused enterprises.
She is known for her work in strategic planning, organizational transformation and stakeholder engagement, with a track record of advancing mission-driven goals and building strong, high-performing teams.
The Foundation says her leadership will help guide the organization through a period of growth and transition.
Strong ties to community and governance
De Leon holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ryerson University and an MBA from the University of Liverpool. She has also served on multiple boards focused on improving community outcomes and is currently President of the Bonnyville Chamber of Commerce.
Her experience in board relations, fundraising and financial stewardship is expected to support both operational stability and long-term planning.
Leadership style rooted in people
The Foundation highlighted De Leon’s people-first approach, built on empathy, authenticity and connection.
Throughout her career, she has focused on creating environments where staff feel supported and valued, while ensuring residents and clients feel heard and respected.
That approach is expected to carry into her work with seniors housing and services across the St. Paul Seniors’ Living Foundation.
Looking ahead
A transition plan is already underway, which includes meeting stakeholders, visiting facilities across the region and working with the Board on strategic priorities.
Board Chair Louis Dechaine says De Leon’s leadership aligns closely with the Foundation’s values — purposeful, collaborative and relationship-focused.
De Leon is expected to begin connecting with staff, residents and community members in the coming weeks as she settles into the role.
