Woman Dead After Crash With Semi Near Two Hills
A 44-year-old woman from Two Hills is dead following a crash with a semi-truck on Highway 41 last week.
RCMP responded around 8:48 a.m. on Feb. 5 to reports of a collision between a sedan and a semi near the intersection of Highway 41 and Highway 640.
When emergency crews arrived, EMS declared the driver of the sedan deceased at the scene.
Mounties say the car was travelling northbound on Highway 41 when it crossed the centre line into the path of an oncoming semi-truck. Upon impact, the car spun onto the right shoulder and the woman was ejected from the vehicle.
Police also indicated the car and the licence plate attached to it had been reported stolen.
The investigation remains ongoing.
