Lac La Biche County Launches 24/7 Complaint Line and Expands Community Patrols

Published On: February 11, 2026By

Residents can now reach Lac La Biche County after hours. On February 10, the County has launched a dedicated Complaint Line to improve response times and customer service.

Call 780-623-6767 anytime after regular business hours to speak directly with a County staff member.

How the Complaint Line Works

If the issue is urgent — such as a blocked County roadway or a water main break — it will be actioned right away.

For less urgent matters, including questions about taxes or development, a file will be created and forwarded to the appropriate department. A staff member will then follow up during regular business hours.

The County notes this is a pilot project and procedures will be adjusted in the coming weeks as staff work to improve service and efficiency.

Peace Officers Join 24/7 Patrols

In addition to the new Complaint Line, Community Peace Officers are now joining the County’s 24/7 community patrols.

Peace Officers are in direct communication with the local RCMP detachment, a move expected to improve response times to suspicious activity and enhance overall community safety.

Together, these changes aim to provide residents with faster support, better communication and stronger service around the clock.
