In Loving Memory: John Harrison – Memento Funeral Chapel
John Harrison Obituary
The family of John Walter Harrison of Pierceland, Saskatchewan sadly announce his peaceful passing on Monday, January 5, 2026 at the age of 82 years.
John was born in Pierceland, lived most of his days in this area. After exploring careers and starting a family in Alberta, he returned home to ranch with his brothers Mertin and George. He also worked heavy equipment and construction for several local companies. No easy task traveling with him in the region; he’d often point out the many roads and homes and other structures he helped build over the years, and co-workers and past acquaintances were always drawn to stop and catch up. He was well-liked by many, seems everyone he chanced to meet became a new friend.
John is lovingly survived by his wife of 60 years Mary-Jane Harrison; children: Rosalee Rewega, Brad (Robin) Harrison, Amelia Urlacher, Kasja Joy, Jeff Harrison; grandchildren: Amanda Stremick, Whitney Urlacher, Kyle Stremick, Paige Urlacher, Nolan Rewega, CJ Harrison, Alexander Harrison, Amal Stremick; brother: Mertin Harrison; sister: Victoria Harrison.
John is predeceased by his parents: John & Anne Harasin; sisters: Rosie Harrison, Mary Meeker, Pearl Wilton, Helen Bacon; brothers: William Harrison, George Harrison, Mike Harrison; grandchild: Morgan Rewega.
