Lucien “Lou” Levesque Obituary

The family of Lucien Levesque of Cold Lake, Alberta, are deeply saddened to announce the passing of their beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 in Cold Lake, Alberta at the age of 80 years.

Lou will be lovingly remembered and forever loved by his three children: Dale Levesque, Susan (Alex) Day, Gary (Nancy) Rands; sisters: Monique Levesque, Denise Levesque; brother: Alain (Alison) Levesque; nephew: Sean (Colleen) Blanchette; nieces: Chantal Blanchette, Lauren Jaworski; grandchildren: Corey Rands, Jamie Rands (Jamie Milne), Trevor (Kara) Day, Amanda Christmas (Vincent Beaudoin), Cory Christmas, Brittany Mendrikis, Emily (Dave) Tapiero, Richard Day (Alana Barnes); great grandchildren: Theo Day, Harper Tapiero, Jayden Rands, Bentley Milne, Braelyn Beaudoin, Teegan Beaudoin, Espin Beaudoin; brother-in-law: Clarence Hopkins; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Lou was predeceased by his son: Marc Levesque; wife: Ethel Levesque; step-son: Christopher Rands; parents: Gerard & Marguerite Levesque; sisters-in-law: Ann Mungham, Doris Agnew; brothers-in-law: Eldon Hopkins, Thomas Hopkins.

A Service of Remembrance will be held for Lou at a later date at St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church, Cold Lake, Alberta with Father Limneo Zamora officiating.  Honorary Urnbearers are his close friends: Mike Legault, Karen Legault, Vern Jones, Karen Jones, Don McLean, Sandy McLean, Phillipe Leullier, Giselle Leullier. Final Resting Place, St. Dominic Roman Catholic Cemetery, Cold Lake, Alberta.
