On November 28, 2025, Calvin Stanley Ballantyne of Lac La Biche, Alberta passed away at the age of 43 years. He is survived by his daughter, Angel Piche; siblings, Marcy, Christine, Lindsey (Jamie) & Waylon Ballantyne, & Suzie Cardinal; nieces & nephews, Leanna (Kayle), Keyanna, Kaneisha, Alaira, Crae, Jaydess, Shalaya, Talon, Gage, Miikka, Laylon, Traeton, Keilyn, Keegan, Christina & Everest. Calvin was predeceased by his parents, Anna & Stanley; grandparents, Rema & George Ballantyne, Mary & Louie Cardinal; mother of his daughter, Nicole Piche; aunties, Eileen Laliberte, Grace Naytowhow, Sally Badger-Ballantyne, Florence Henderson; uncles, Leslie & Maurice Ballantyne, Dennis, Allen & Lawrence Cardinal, Darcy Castor and Jay Miller; cousins, Leslie Charboneau & Jason Cardinal. A Wake was held on Tuesday, December 16 (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 am) at Owl River Recreation Centre, Owl River. A Funeral Service was on Wednesday, December 17 at 11:00 a.m.at Owl River Recreation Centre with interment in Our Lady of Snow Cemetery, Big Bay.
