Bonnyville RCMP Give Back Through Community Meal and Pack the PC Food Drive
Bonnyville RCMP were front and centre this December, showing up for the community in two meaningful ways — around the table and in the parking lot.
From sharing a meal to filling patrol cars with food, the message was clear: community matters in Bonnyville.
Sharing a Meal at St. Louis Parish Hall

On December 12, 2025, members of the Bonnyville RCMP were invited to attend a community meal at St. Louis Parish Hall, hosted by the Bonnyville Friendship Centre.
The evening focused on connection, conversation, and gratitude.
“The beauty and vibrancy of the Bonnyville community was something we were honoured to partake in serving and sharing a meal,” said S/Sgt Lloyd Pinsent.

Pack the PC Brings Big Support for Local Food Bank

Just days later, on Monday, December 15, the Bonnyville RCMP hosted their 8th annual Pack the PC event in the Sobeys parking lot.
The event brought together members of the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority, Community Peace Officers from the Town and MD of Bonnyville, Eastern Alberta Regional Victim Serving Society, and Alberta RCMP Traffic Services.
Thanks to strong community support, the results were significant.

A total of 2,530 pounds of non-perishable food and toiletry items were collected, along with more than $1,200 in grocery gift cards. All donations were delivered to the Bonnyville Friendship Centre food bank.
“We appreciate the efforts of Cpl Mathieu Nadeau of the Bonnyville RCMP in organizing this year’s event,” said S/Sgt Pinsent. “The generosity of the Bonnyville community was on full display. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this event.”

Together, both events highlighted the ongoing partnership between first responders, local organizations, and residents — proving once again that Bonnyville shows up when it matters most.
