The family of Lily McCool of St. Paul Alberta are saddened to announce her passing on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at the age of 92 years.
Lily is survived by her children: Jim (Amber) McCool, Mary (Peter) Flondra, Louise McCool, Tom McCool, Kevin McCool, Patrick McCool, Robert (Kim) McCool; son-in-law: Leonard Hall; grandchildren: Colin McCool, Ian (Madison) Norby, Kimberly (Chad) Kully, Karen (Brett) Matthiessen, Tamara Flondra, Shannon Hall, Taylor McCool, Kyle Hope, Sierra, Ronan & Tadhg McCool, Chrystal (Clint) Raymond, Stephanie (Shaun) Benson, Adam (Tara) Ophus; great grandchildren: Jaxson & Ryker McCool, Jack Norby, Jayden, Brady & Kadence Kully, Kasey, Tristan & Andrea Matthiessen, Isabella, Annalise & Allyson Flondra, Dawson & Deacon Raymond, Carson, Cole & Jade Benson, Aldon Ophus, Avery & Eli Cooney. Lily will also be remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family & many friends.
Lily is predeceased by her husband James McCool; parents: William & Antose Kondrat; daughter: Eileen Hall; grandson: Gregory Flondra; sisters: Frances Tadros & Nancy Chaplesky.
Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 10:30 a.m., St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul, Alberta with Father Emmanuel Umeohanna as celebrant. Pallbearers: Jim McCool, Tom McCool, Patrick McCool, Mike McCool, Michael Ferris, James McGonigal. Final resting place, St. Brides Roman Catholic Cemetery.
