January 10, 1938 ~ October 14, 2025

On October 14, 2025, Mrs. Stephania “Steffy” Hawiuk (nee Farus) of St. Paul, Alberta, passed away at the age of 87 years.  She is survived by her sister, Olga Johnson; daughter, Susan (Russel) Zapesocki; son, Richard (Jeannine); 5 grandchildren, Douglas (Tammy) Zapesocki, Bryan (Katie) Zapesocki, Pamela (Shayne) Carter, Zachary (Samantha) & Matthew; 4 great-grandchildren, Sloane Zapesocki, Lennon Zapesocki, Keaton Carter & Kenna Carter;  numerous nieces & nephews.  Steffy was predeceased by her husband, George; parents, John & Anne Farus; 5 sisters, Mary Petash, Helen Toffan, Lena Zacharuk, Nellie Horbul & Jenny Farris; 6 brothers, Joe, Alex, Paul, Walter, Max & Sid.  A Funeral Service was held on Friday, October 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul with viewing beginning at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Father John Lipinski officiated with interment in Union Cemetery, St. Paul.
