Thunderstorms in the forecast for much of Alberta

The province looks to be in the midst of expected storms.

Another severe thunderstorm watch was issued on Wednesday morning, following the one issued on Tuesday afternoon.

The weatherman says there’s a 30 per cent chance of showers this afternoon, with a risk of a severe thunderstorm this afternoon. High of 27 degrees.

Rainy conditions are expected to go into Thursday morning.

“Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing large hail and torrential rain under slow moving storms,” Environment Canada says.
