Assault and uttering threats charge laid from Feb incident: Vermilion RCMP
Vermilion RCMP have shared information about an assault from February.
Police say that on Feb. 26, at approximately 8:00PM, Vermilion RCMP received a complaint of an assault at a rural residence in the County of Vermilion River.
Members attended to initiate an investigation and located the male suspect, the detachment said on Thursday.
As a result of the investigation, Levi Desrochers, a 21-year-old resident of Vermilion, was arrested and charged with assault and uttering threats.
Desrochers was released from custody on an Undertaking.
He is scheduled to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in Vermilion on May 5, 2025.
