AJHL Roundtable: Calgary Canucks and Grande Prairie Storm vying for Inter-Pipeline Cup
Both the Calgary Canucks and Grande Prairie Storm made quick work of their opponents, in a pair of divisional round sweeps that pit these two clubs head-to-head for the Alberta Junior Hockey League crown.
In fact, the Storm are undefeated in the playoffs, and the Canucks are 8-1.
The cream has rose to the top. But who has the edge?
In the last installment of the broadcaster roundtable, the voices of Michael Menzies, Tim Ellis, Wyatt Zieger, and Matthew Dekker (Bonnyville Pontiacs, Camrose Kodiaks, Whitecourt Wolverines, and Fort McMurray Oil Barons, respectively) have gathered to break down the final series, and make their predications in the road to the Centennial Cup.
Each have punched their ticket to the national championship, as the Canucks are hosts. But CGY is also looking to repeat as champions, while the Storm are hoping it will be 2009 all over again, and snap a 16 year title drought.
