Fire Advisory added to County of St. Paul on Wednesday
Based on current and forecasted weather and a dry grass hazard, a Fire Advisory is now in place for the County of St. Paul, effective 9:00AM Wednesday April 16.
Any previous burning sites should be checked by landowner for extinguishment.
Level 2 FIRE ADVISORY reads as follows:
- Safe wood campfires are allowed on private land and in campgrounds.
- Issuance of fire permits for any other open-air fire may be restricted.
- Existing permits would be honored, however issuance of new permits may be suspended.

Other advisory areas
On Tuesday, the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority issued a similar Fire Advisory for the M.D. of Bonnyville response area. Cold Lake First Nations put out a similar update for residents, as the Lac La Biche Forest Protection Area is under Fire Advisory.
