VIDEO: 3rd Annual Victor Ringuette Sportsman Dinner on Feb. 28

One of the newest crown jewel event galas of the year in Bonnyville is approaching fast at the end of the month.

The 3rd annual Victor Ringuette Sportsman Dinner is slated for Friday, Feb. 28 and there are still some tables left available for the event.

Put on in partnership between the Bonnyville Jr. A Pontiacs, Bonnyville Sr. Pontiacs, Bonnyville Minor Hockey Association, and Rhinos Volleyball Club, this year’s guest should be a treat.

Terry Ryan, star of the hit comedy Shoresy, and former 8th overall draft choice of the Montreal Canadiens, he is full of funny stories, which will be familiar to listeners of the Spittin’ Chiclets podcast.

The night includes a terrific meal catered by C’est La Vie, live and silent auction items, 50/50, and table games.

Victor Ringuette’s impact on the community of Bonnyville is enormous. The founder of what became B&R Eckels, he made a tremendous impact in support several non-profits.

The Bonnyville Pontiacs benefitted from Ringuette’s support for 32 years, and the event started as a way to honour his legacy after his passing.

As such, B&R Eckels is the title sponsor for the 2025 event.
